Introduction

The Department of Energy and Refrigerating Air-Conditioning Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology is divided into three main areas of development: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, Environmental and Control Technology, and Energy and Heat Flow Technology.

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering:
This specialization encompasses expertise in refrigeration and air conditioning system technology, ice storage air conditioning systems, new refrigerants and refrigeration systems, design of refrigerated and frozen storage facilities, food freezing engineering, and low-temperature technology for biomedical applications.

Environmental and Control Technology:
Focused on high-tech process environments, this area encompasses the design and control of cleanroom facilities, precise temperature control technology, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), and computer and automatic control systems.

Energy and Heat Flow Technology:
This specialization includes expertise in building energy-saving technology, non-electric air conditioning and cogeneration technology, renewable energy power generation systems, two-phase heat convection, micro/nano heat transfer, and applications of heat flow engineering.
